Here are 5 basic questions to get you started:

• What kind of activities will you engage in? Do you need good peripheral vision? Will it be hot or windy?
• Do you need strong sun protection or will you supplement it with sun protection cream?
• How big should the brim of your sun protection hat be?
• Does it have to look fashionable or should it just get the job done?
• What is your hair like? Long? Short? Do you dye it?
